Before entering personal information, confirm that the browser has opened the expected address. The current account destination configured for this website is an external service, so its own terms, privacy practices, and account controls may also apply.
Choose a unique password
Do not reuse the same password that protects your email, banking, social media, or work accounts. A unique password reduces the damage that can occur if another service experiences a security incident. Longer passwords are generally easier to make unique without relying on predictable substitutions.
Keep verification codes private
A one-time password, SMS code, authenticator code, security PIN, or recovery code should be treated as a secret. Do not send it to someone who contacts you through chat, even if that person claims to be support. Use the recovery or support process available through the account service when verification is required.
Using shared or public devices
Public computers, shared phones, and borrowed devices create additional risk. Avoid saving passwords in the browser, sign out when finished, and close the browser session. If you accidentally saved a password on a device you do not control, change it from a trusted device.
